Touchstone No. 3: Black Tourmaline

Welcome to my Emporium of Hypnotic Curiosities! My goal in offering these trance talismans is to bring hypnosis closer to people in an accessible, tangible way. 

This one-of-a-kind touchstone is here to anchor and empower your intentions. Sometimes called "worry stones", these are smooth, hand-held stones designed for repetitive touch.

As a hypnotist, I choose not to reinforce worry through language. Instead, I offer these "touchstones" that rein in attention, anchor your intention, and serve as a tactile reminder of how you'd rather feel. 

It's something you reach for to remind you you are resourced.

Touchstone No. 2 is Black Tourmalime. It's solid black, and even though it's polished smooth, some if its characteristic  texture is still clearly visible and tangible. Black tourmaline forms in layers and when polished, I like to think the little "pockets" that remain are there to "catch" negative energies (kind of like a sponge)

• This is the stone to reach for when you want to clear negative energy from your field, It is protective and purifying, absorbing the negative and unwanted energies. It is also known to protect you from nightmares or negative energies reaching you in the dreamstate. If you have a recurring dream that you want to stop, black tourmaline can help. I love using them in my dream pillow or meditating with them over my eyes or on my forehead to quell intrusive thoughts.
